frequently asked questions
How do I buy something?
Simply click on the image of what you want in any of the PORTFOLIO galleries. This brings up a larger image showing the item's price and more details, with a button to add it to a Shopping Cart. At Checkout, you can pay with either a credit card or PayPal. (You do not have to have a PayPal account to use it; for more information, click here). When I receive payment I will mail you the item, or you can pick it up. There is a flat $10 shipping and handling charge on all orders unless you pick it up.
If I see something I like in your PREVIOUS WORK, can you make it again?
Sometimes, but if not, I can usually create something similar. Send me an email and I can give you a quote.
Can you alter pieces for fit or style?
Yes. Earrings can be modified for non-pierced ears; long ear-wires can be shortened; ear-wires can be changed to posts or another type of metal; bracelets can all be adjusted to fit; and most necklace lengths can be changed (email me for the cost).
Is all your silver sterling?
Most pieces are made of sterling silver, but a few of the beads and ear-wires are silver-plated (as noted). All ear-wires are hypo-allergenic. Surgical steel ear-wires and posts are also available.
Are the gold-colored pieces 14-karat gold?
Most are “gold fill” (14-karat gold over brass or copper), others are brass, as noted on the piece.
Do the brass, copper, niobium or titanium pieces stain the skin or cause any adverse reactions?
No. While everyone’s skin is different, I have never heard of any problems with niobium or titanium. A few people are allergic to copper or brass, and if so, I can generally substitute another suitable metal.
Are the brass bracelets heavy?
No. They're curved to look thick but are actually quite thin, strong and lightweight, and very comfortable.
