Open home jewelry studios
Thursday, November 28, 11am – 6pm
Sunday, December 2, 11am – 6pm
747 Dolores Street, Stanford, CA 94305 map: http://goo.gl/maps/xpqYr
I live in a residential area of the Stanford campus, and the streets are tricky; if you get lost call 650-321-6791. Come see the tools and techniques of jewelry-making and all the metals, gems and beads I use. Bring a stone or some old jewelry that needs a makeover, and we can brainstorm ideas. While you’re here, check out the historic homes nearby, including Hoover House, where Stanford’s president lives, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hanna House. Or just stop by and say hello!
Portola Valley Annual Holiday Fair
Sunday, December 1, 10am – 4pm
Woodside Priory Performing Arts Center
302 Portola Road, Portola Valley, CA 94028 map: http://goo.gl/nn5NK2
The Annual Portola Valley Holiday Fair hosts 40 local artists selling everything from jewelry to local jam, soap, scarves, woodwork, stoneware, children's clothes and toys, and much more. There will be refreshments, music, and plenty of parking, and 10% of all sales are donated to local educational or environmental charities. For more information on last year's fair, see www.facebook.com/PVHolidayFair.
